Youth With A Mission or YWAM is a global movement of Christians dedicated to knowing God and making God known. YWAM started in 1960 as a way to get young people involved with missions. It still does that today but its more involved in every kind of outreach and every kind of ministry you can imagine.There are currently over 18,000 staff members with locations in over 180 nations. YWAM's ministries fit into 3 main categories: evangelism, training, and mercy distress.

Spring 2027 March Spring 2027 DTS Dates: March 19 - August 7 (Best dates for those presently in college missing only one semester of school)

6. Get your body in shape for outreach and life… Upward Fitness is a Christian Ministry “Cross Fit” style program. Indoor Ninja and climbing wall associated with Upward Ninja
7. Paddleball, Basketball, and Volleyball courts
8. Two Kayak parks within 5 miles of YWAM Oak haven Base
9. 3 day 2 night camping trip to start off your DTS
10. YWAM Country of Focus: Panama with (3) Bases to serve.
(1) Panama YWAM Boquete main Base emphasizing in OMT and Camping for kids
(2) Panama YWAM Ships “Pirates of the Caribbean” island experience emphasizing in OMT and Children Ministry in Christian Camp Ministry
(3) Panama YWAM Ngabe Mountain location emphasizing in Ngabe native tribe ministry with children and Bible Translation
Complete a DTS at one of the 2000 bases in the world. YWAM Oak Haven runs DTS in the Fall and Spring semester
Take the YWAM Oak Haven 3-month SOMD (School of Ministry Development). Take this school while serving at the base. Minimal Cost for those committing to serve wit YEWAM Oak Haven.
Minimum Support Raising before starting fulltime

• Coupes 2000.00 / mo.
• Families 200.00 /mo. Per child
YOH staff will need to make a minimum 2-year commitment
YOH staff housing may be available to rent but not guaranteed. As with all YWAM Bases YWAM staff are responsible for their own housing.
YOH staff should have health insurance, YOH administrators can assist staff uninsured to learn about and gain Arkansas Medical Insurance.
YWAM Oakhaven staff are self-funded; they raise their own funds outside of the organization to support the work they do in YWAM. Every volunteer joins YWAM Oakhaven with an understanding that they give their expertise and goodwill without payment.
